Welome Home Angel just celebrated it’s 1st birthday at it’s annual luncheon event.

On April 22, 2009Welcome Home Angel Inc. will hold its second annual luncheon. The luncheon will be held at the Holiday Inn Sun Spree at Wrightsville Beach starting at 11:45.

We will review the projects and progress of the past year and discuss the exciting plans Welcome Home Angel, Inc. has to continue to help sick children and their families. We are expecting over 150 people at this year’s event. Last year there were 95 at the April Luncheon with net donations of over $ 26,000.00.

It takes between $5,000.00 and $15,000.00 to complete a project. These figures do not include any professional fees for the designers who donate their time and talents to making each room special for these special children. As word of our program spreads in the coming year we expect our referrals to increase by 500% over our first year. It is our goal to serve as many families as we have the funds to complete. Currently we are renovating three homes and have two more referrals coming in.
